We have just opened ASEAN-India Regional Office （AIRO） in Bangkok, Thailand today. We would like to give special thanks to the Thai government which gave us the permission for activities of AIRO (Feb.23) and to all people and organizations that have provided us warmest support and cooperation for the establishment of the office. We AIRO set missions and tasks as mentioned later, and would like to inform you that we would meet your expectations as much as possible through activities in Southeast and South Asia. In addition, AIRO has been currently in the build-up process of an office and other foundations for business activities, and plans to complete this work as soon as possible for the quick transition to the stage in which AIRO would undertake full-scale activities. In the meantime, AIRO will continue to provide information through reports and other means as appropriate.
