On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, AIRO (Mr. Okuda President of JTTRI-AIRO and his team) had meeting with Mr. Athibhu CHITRANUKROH, Deputy Director-General, Department of Rail Transport and Mr.Tayakorn CHANDRANGSU, Director of Safety and Maintenance Standards Division
AIRO extended gratitude for the opportunity of having a meeting with Mr.Athibhu CHITRANUKROH, Deputy Director General, Department of Rail Transport at DRT main office. In this meeting, DRT presented the topic and challenge on intercity railway safety implemented in Thai urban and rural area, which still need to be improved as counter measures for railway accidents that have occured several times every year. AIRO also considers this topic to be addressed in the corporation with DRT.
