The latest activities by JTTRI-AIRO, such as conducting research, holding seminars and collaborating parties in the field of transport and tourism.

On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, AIRO (Mr. YAMASHITA Yukio, Senior Director and his team), accompanied by airline company, visited the International Academy of Aviation Industry (IAAI) at King Mongkut Institute of Technology Lad Krabang (KMITL).

AIRO felt gratitude for welcoming our visit to IAAI at beginning of 2023. Firstly, IAAI’s Dean Mr. Soemsak YOOYEN himself and his team have taken us throughout the academy to introduce in detail the newly receive study equipment and materials including the advanced training software and program in collaboration with an airline company for new MRO programs. AIRO were very impressed with how IAAI has set up all the facilities and programs for the study course in this academy. After that, both sides exchanged much information directly from each party's perspective. We have learned that nowadays there is still a lacking MRO personnel to work in airlines and MRO companies in contrast to the growing MRO business in Asia. This visit was a very good opportunity for AIRO, IAAI and airline company to keep the close contact and work together on a future research and project.
