The latest activities by JTTRI-AIRO, such as conducting research, holding seminars and collaborating parties in the field of transport and tourism.

      AIRO participated in the Asian Transportation Research Society (ATRANS) in cooperation with the International Association for Traffic and Safety Sciences (IATSS) organized the ATRANS 15th Annual Conference on August 26, 2022, at the Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. The theme of this annual conference is “Transportation for a Better Life: Resiliency, Sustainability, and Safety in Transportation System”. From AIRO, Mr. Yukio Yamashita gave the presentation of “Safety and Accessibility in Public Transport System in ASEAN Countries and India” in the Session 1: Resiliency, Sustainability, and Safety in Transportation System”.  At this occasion, H.E. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Finance Minister deliver the honorable guest opening speech. Also, special lectures were given by Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor and Dr. Punya Chupanit, Director General of Office of Transport and Traffic Policy Planning (OTP), Ministry of Transport (MOT).
