The latest activities by JTTRI-AIRO, such as conducting research, holding seminars and collaborating parties in the field of transport and tourism.

On Monday, May 9, 2022, AIRO (Mr. SAWADA Takaaki Executive Director and his team) had a meeting with Dr. Punya CHUPANIT, Director-General, OTP and Mr. Athibhu Chitranukroh, Director of Bureau of Planning and the staffs of Bureau of Planning of OTP, MOT, at OTP office.
 

AIRO visited Dr. Punya CHUPANIT, Director-General, OTP, and had a meeting with him and Mr. Athibhu Chitranukroh, Director of Bureau of Planning and the staffs of Bureau of Planning of OTP. In this occasion, AIRO introduced the 1st anniversary commemorative online symposium and invited the Director-General to be a panelist in the panel discussion section of it. In response to this, he mentioned his thought to support and warmly accepted the invitation. In addition to that, as the OTP has the vision to be the leading organization in setting the direction for the development of the country’s transportation, Director-General provided us useful information about the policy and development in transportation, especially with a viewpoint of logistics, in Thailand. We also exchanged views on various aspects on transport matters, such as railways and sea ports development policy, transport infrastructure improvement and challenges in Thailand. At last, AIRO expressed its appreciation for having the meeting and wish to keep close relationship for more cooperation. In reply, the Director General, gave us his warm words for support and further cooperation.
